This is a riff on the Giny Germain, a cocktail that was created by bartender Antoine Goldschmid of Poulette Restaurant. I learned about it from The Educated Barfly.
1.5oz Hendrick’s Gin
0.75oz St. Germain
0.75oz Italicus
1oz lemon juice
0.5oz simple syrup (1:1)
egg white
3 cucumber slices
Peychaud’s bitters
Add all ingredients to a shaker. Muddle cucumber. Dry shake. Add ice. Hard shake. Double strain into a chilled martini glass. Use a dropper to place 5 drops of Peychaud’s bitters along the rim of the drink. Drag a toothpick through them to make it pretty.
